It has been 30 years since Chroma ATE Inc. was founded on November 8^th, 1984. Now Chroma has nine test solution groups: video & color, power electronics, passive components/electrical safety, semiconductor/IC, solar energy, LED, battery, electric vehicle and optical devices test solutions, in which the power electronics test solution has gained the No.1 global market share. Chroma keeps on investing resources to develop more advanced and innovative technologies, including turnkey automation solution. As of today, over 100 core technologies and more than 600 patents worldwide were obtained that made Chroma the industry-leading patent owner in Taiwan's measurement and test industry, and ranked 73^rd overall in Taiwan enterprises..

Last year 2013, Chroma granted the 1^st Taiwan Mittelstand Award from Ministry of Economic Affairs, which only the top 10 of the Mittelstands were elected from 258 blue-chip companies in Taiwan to recognize their uniqueness, key expertise and remarkable global competitiveness. The CEO, Mr. Leo Huang, has proudly expressed that Chroma has been a profitable corporation since it was established 30 years ago and the EPS has kept NTD 2.5 or more for the last 10 years.

Sustaining for 30 years, it indicates Chroma has rooted in the Test & Measurement industry and has the ability to step into the next generation with the vision of developing globally leading products as a world-class enterprise. For the future, Chroma group has set up a target called "5300 Plan" that is to reach NTD30 billions (USD1 billion) revenue in 5 years. Currently the headquarters and factory in Huaya Technology Park is almost full. The A7 specified industrial usage zone near the current headquarters will be the new location for Chroma headquarters and factory in coming years. The A7 building has 110,000M² and will be 26 floors on the ground and 4 floors underground. We believe that the production capacity of Chroma Group will increase significantly to reach the set goal after stationed in the new A7 building.
