The HDAVO is an optional mixed-signal module designed to provide source and capture testing capabilities for the Chroma 3680 SoC Test System. Equipped with eight Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWGs) and eight Digitizers (DGTs) on a single instrument board, the HDAVO offers exceptional flexibility and performance. The module can be seamlessly integrated into any universal slot in the 3680 system.

Boasting a maximum instrument bandwidth of 120MHz, the HDAVO delivers the high density and performance required to test a wide range of device types. By configuring each channel for either audio or video, users can efficiently conduct multi-site testing at reduced costs.

The HDAVO ensures precise I/Q phase and amplitude matching with a channel-to-channel skew of less than 25ps, achieved through a dedicated external calibration board. This capability enables the system to test to a variety of I/Q modulator standards, including 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN, as well as cellular baseband processors.

The CRISPro software environment allows users to set up the HDAVO via an intuitive GUI. This user-friendly, coding-based environment allows for the quick and easy production of test programs, enabl ing concurrent functionality for complex and multi-function SoC devices while minimizing cost of test (CoT).
