Chroma currently provides single-channel (66205) and multi-channel (66203 & 66204) digital power meters. Users can choose a power meter according to the specific needs of the test object.

Chroma 66205 is the 2^nd generation within the 66200 series of digital power meters, designed for single-channel power test applications. The sophisticated circuit design offers high-precision power testing conform the IEC62301/EN 50564 requirements. The improved functionality of 66205 enhances the accuracy and reliability of power test applications, which helps users to measure power and other relevant parameters.

Chroma 66203 and 66204 are digital power meters designed for multi-phase AC power testing. 66203 provides three modules, whereas 66204 provides four modules. Both models adopt 16-bit high-resolution analog-to-digital conversion, a sampling frequency of up to 250kHz and high-speed digital signal processing (DSP) technology, so meeting high-precision parameter measurements and complying with ENERGY STAR, IEC 62301, and ErP standards. The meters are suitable for most test applications of motors and electrical products.

This software can be connected via GPIB, USB, RS-232C, and Ethernet (RS-232C and Ethernet only supported by 66205).

The main page provides drop-down menus for users to choose the parameters they want to view. Each menu has parameters such as voltage, current, power, Whr, and so on. In the Setup page, users can directly set the voltage and current range, the average number of measurements, line filter, and even CT or Ext shunt can be set in this area.

In addition to basic measurement functions, 66200 also provides three trigger modes:

1. GONG mode: Set the upper and lower limits of the parameters, then set the test time. Upon activation, the 66200 will judge within the appointed test time and return the results.

2. Inrush mode: Set the multi-channel trigger conditions and judgement time and set the trigger to Inrush mode. With one press on the button, the trigger will be displayed in the Is results according to the set conditions.

3. Integration mode: Different from the 1^st generation, in the Integration mode, 66205 provides a Smart Range function. This new function is specially designed by Chroma and allows users to achieve integration without a fixed range in this mode. Users simply set the multi-channel integration time and activate the Integration mode, then the trigger will be displayed in the W results according to the set conditions.

Chroma 66205 SoftPanel also provides harmonic current testing, and even judges the harmonic results conform the IEC 61000-3-2 regulations. After finishing the test, the Pass or Fail result will be displayed on the screen.

Report Generator function: After selecting the preferred recording parameters, sampling rate, and time, it takes one press on the Report Start button to let this software function start recording.
